GIMME SHELTER: A charity art exhibition with drawings by Ahmad Zakii Anwar in aid of Intan Life Zone Welfare Society

“Gimme Shelter” is a special fundraising exhibition of drawings by renowned Johore-born artist Ahmad Zakii Anwar. Organized by RogueArt in aid of Intan LIfe Zone Welfare Society in Johor Bahru, this exhibition features twelve new works in charcoal on paper, portraying residents currently undergoing Life Zone’s shelter programme. Ahmad Zakii Anwar is the co-founder and head of this welfare society. Full proceeds from the sale of these twelve portraits will go to building an after-care centre for former residents, which would provide basic skills training and support to help residents re-integrate into society.
